On January 27, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received at his residence His Excellency Sri K. J. George, Minister of Energy at the Government of Karnataka.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan Trustee and Metropolitan of Cochin Diocese, Mor Theophilose Kuriakose, Metropolitan of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary and Metropolitan of the Malankara Churches in Europe, Mor Christophoros Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, His Excellency welcomed His Holiness to India and wished him a pleasant and successful Apostolic Visit.
