With hope in the resurrection, profound sadness and with heavy heart, we share the news that our beloved Very Rev. David Cheruthottil Corepiscopos has passed away today at 11:45am at his home in Texas. David Achen has spent the last 50 years faithfully serving our Churches here in the United States. He was the Founding Vicar of our St. George Church, Cartaret, New Jersey and had moved to Texas a few years ago.
His dedicated service to our Church and unwavering commitment to our faith will always be remembered with deep gratitude and respect.
During this time of grief and loss, we come together to support one another, offering our prayers and condolences to our dearest Annie Kochamma, Anju, Juan, Anuj, Aneesh, Zach and Maia.
The wake services will be held at the St. Ignatious Cathedral in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, December 21, 2023. The final funeral services will be held at Mor Gregorios Church, Mesquite, Texas on Friday, December 22, 2023.
