On January 17, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited His Beatitude Joseph Absi, Greek-Melkite Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Alexandria, and Jerusalem at the Greek Catholic Patriarchate in Damascus.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Boutros Kassis, Archbishop of Aleppo and Environs and General Manager of EPDC, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, and Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi, accompanied His Holiness during the visit.
His Holiness and His Beatitude visited the Patriarchal Compound in Zaytoun Area in Old Damascus. They inspected the work at the different parts of the compound. They also visited Patriarch Jacob III House for university students. His Beatitude took a tour in the various sections and listened to an overview of the stages of the work as well as the functions of each facility.
