On September 15, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the Meltho School in Erbil. The school started its mission on the same day and is offering education for all grades.
Their Eminences: Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul, Kirkuk, Kurdistan and Environs, Mor Justinos Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, Mor Timotheos Moussa Al-Shamani, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Mor Matta Monastery, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, accompanied His Holiness.
His Holiness visited the different parts of the school and took a tour of its various classrooms.
