Opening of “Church: House of Charity, Synodality and Coordination

‏On March 15, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the opening session of the conference “the Church: House of Charity, Synodality and Coordination”, at the Palace of Conferences in Damascus.‏Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Assistant and Patriarchal Delegate of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs and General Manager of EPDC, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, accompanied His Holiness.Their Beatitudes: Joseph Absi, Greek-Melkite Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Alexandria, and Jerusalem, Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan, Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch, Cardinal Mar Louis Rafael Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldeans, and their Eminences: Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, President of the Council of Oriental Churches, and Cardinal Mario Zenari, Apostolic Nuncio in Damascus, as well as the Catholic Archbishops of Syria, attended the conference. The conference includes lectures and workshops on the social work within the churches and the ways to improve cooperation between the different charities.
