On July 2nd, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II answered the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Farid Al-Khazen, Ambassador of Lebanon to the Vatican, to an official reception in honor of the heads of churches in Lebanon participating in the meeting for Lebanon which His Holiness Pope Francis called for at the Vatican.His Beatitude Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X, His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican State Secretary, and the Heads of Churches of Lebanon and the accompanying delegations were also present.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary.
