Conclusion of the Prayer for the Unity of Christians

On January 22, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II participated in the common prayer on the occasion of the conclusion of the Week of Prayer for the Unity of Christians. The prayer was conducted at the Maronite Patriarchal Church in Bkerke, Lebanon.

Their Beatitudes and Holinesses Patriarchs Mar Bechara Boutros Raii, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East of the Maronite Church, Aram I Keshishian, Catholicos of the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, Mor Ignatius Joseph III Younan, Syriac Catholic Patriarch, Mor Youssef Absi, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, and Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian, Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church.

Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Justinos Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, also attended the prayer, along with Archbishops and clergy of the various churches in Lebanon.
