On April 28, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received a delegation of the Committee of the Syrian Christian Youth, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus.
The delegation presented to His Holiness an overview of their work since the meeting held in October 2022. They also discussed the different small projects that they are implementing to support the Christian youth to remain in Syria and work in collaboration with the different churches. His Holiness blessed their work and encouraged them to work further with the youth in the different governorates in order to help them be more productive and more attached to their homeland.
His Eminence Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, Very Rev. Raban Andrawos Bahhi, Director of Youth Department, and Very Rev. Raban Augeen Al Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, were also present.
