On April 11, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Csaba Czibere, Charge d’Affaires of the Hungarian Embassy in Syria, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus.
The meeting was also attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, and Mor Augeen Al- Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
During the meeting, His Holiness discussed with His Excellency the current situation in Syria.
His Excellency also delivered a letter to His Holiness from His Excellency the President of Hungary.
