On January 28, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated the Golden Jubilee of St. Mary Church in Queens Road held at the Bharat Jodho Bhavan.
He also inaugurated the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of St Mary’s Snehalaya Opportunity School and launched the Online Inaguration of Mylapore Diocese Retirement Home Project.
With these celebrations, His Holiness also inaugurated the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church in Mathikkere. He also honored Rev. Fr. Shibu George Pulayath on his 25 years of Priesthood and the participants of Akhila Malankara Sunday School Balakalolsavam 2023.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan Trustee and Metropolitan of Cochin Diocese, Mor Dioscoros Kuriakose, Metropolitan of the Simhasana Churches of Northern Kerala, Mor Theophilose Kuriakose, Metropolitan of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary and Metropolitan of the Malankara Churches in Europe, Mor Eustatheus Isaac, Metropolitan of Bangalore, Mor Christophoros Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India, Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, were also present.
