On July 1st, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II participated in the Ecumenical Prayer hosted by His Holiness Pope Francis at St. Peter Basilica in the Vatican.Their Holinesses and Beatitudes the Heads of Churches in Lebanon, also participated in the prayer.
At the end of the prayer, their Holinesses and Beatitudes lit candles for peace.
His Holiness our Patriarch was accompanied by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Justinos Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary.
