On March 28, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received a delegation from the coordinators of the Syriac Scouts in Syria, at the Patriarchate in Bab Touma in Damascus.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Anthimos Jack Yacoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education.
His Holiness discussed with the delegation the current situation of the Syriac Scouts in Syria, especially the common activities that the different troops are doing in the archdioceses. The representatives of the troups informed His Holiness on the meeting they recently had under the guidance of His Eminence Mor Anthimos Jack Yacoub and through his support. They also presented the different steps that they will take to exchange expertise and unify the costumes. His Holiness blessed their efforts and was happy that this meeting will open the door to more cooperation and coordination between the Scout troops in Syria for further progress and improvement.
