The 23rd Anniversary of the establishment of the St. George Church as well as the anniversary of the spiritual organizations and farewell to the Vicar, Rev. Fr. Mathews Kavumkal will be held onOctober 22 and 23 (Saturday and Sunday) at St. George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Chicago, Illinois. On Saturday October 22nd, the evening prayers will start at 6.30pm. Very Rev. Fr. Skariya Thelappilly Corepiscopos will lead the prayer followed by cultural programs. They will honor the high school graduates and students who passed the 10th grade Sunday School examination. On Sunday, October 23rd Rev. Fr. Mathew Kavumkal will celebrate the Holy Qurbono at 9.30am followed by the farewell meeting , lunch and concluding prayers.
