Philadelphia, PA: The 21st dukhrono of Late Lamented Dr. Paulose Mor Athanasius (Kadavil II) and the 1st dukhrono of Late Lamented Geevarghese Mor Policarpos were observed with special prayers by the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America at St. Peter's Syrian Orthodox Church, Philadelphia, USA, on Sunday, March 3rd 2012 during the Holy Qurbono celebrated by our Archbishop & Patriarchal VIcar, Mor Titus Yeldho. Also present were Rev.Fr. Jose Daniel Paitel, Rev. Fr. Joy John, Rev. Dn. Shiryl Mathai, Rev. Dn. Anish Skaria and mass of faithful were in attendance.
His Eminence Mor Titus Yeldho pointed out that Kadavil thirumeni, a scholar and a pious monastic, was able to give leadership to the Church in Malankara when the split happened during 1970's, by becoming the first Metropolitan from the Patriarchal side in 1973. Archbishop also remembered Kadavil thirumeni as personal mentor and preceptor in his early spiritual life.
