On March 25, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo for the Feast of the Annunciation at St. Mary Church in Qusur – Damascus.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Assistant, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs,and Mor Anthimos Jack Yacoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, assisted His Holiness in the Holy Qurobo.
In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the importance of the Feast of the Annunciation celebrated by the Holy Church. His Holiness explained the words of the Virgin Mary who accepted to be the Mother of God. He hoped that we can learn from her to have full confidence in the Lord and faith that He will not fail those who trust Him.
